Peggy and Rio are going to National
Peggy and Whiz and Smoke (Rio)did very well in the Affiliate Finals and won their way to a spot in the National Finals in OKC. The finals are held in conjunction with the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City, this is reining's biggest show of the year. Peggy and Rio will compete on Saturday December 4th between 9AM and noon.

Customer Appreciation Day
Thanks to all who helped make this event SPECTACULAR. It was a glorious sunshiny day and everyone had a great time. One little girl said she could not decide if she liked the horse back riding or the petting zoo best. Another young man said he LOVED the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. I guess there was something for everyone. Ryan Burton's band did a great concert, thanks so much to his group for playing and singing. The horses are tired but happy that they could make so many people happy. It sounds like this will become an annual event.
What Else is Happening at the Wild Winds Ranch?
Besides lessons and day camps, we also offer pasture board for $195 per month, and stall board in a heated barn for $395 per month. If your horse requires special services, additional fees may apply. The ranch is situated on 53 acres for lots of space to ride outdoors, especially in the 125 x 225 foot outdoor arena. When the weather is less than perfect, there is an 80 x 180 heated indoor arena for your riding pleasure. Our heated barn features a heated bathroom and lounge, a hot water wash rack, automatic waterers, and private tack compartments for boarders.
